U9 Vipers
Rotherfield executed a near-perfect set-piece straight from the kick-off to give them a one goal lead; Jack Stevens knocked the ball wide to Adam Fearnside who ran to the touchline and crossed, for Stevens to finish with only his second touch of the game.
A few minutes later Nick Swan added a second when he capitalised on a short clearance by the Hurst keeper. Fearnside then made it three, and Stevens added a fourth when he was first to react to a drop-ball just inside the Romans' penalty area.
Fearnside added a fifth before the break with a good individual run from the half-way line, finished by a chip from the edge of the box.
After half-time, Owen Lowe moved into the United attack after spending the first-half in goal; it wasn't long before he too found the net with a tidy finish from another Fearnside cross.
Fearnside himself added two more before the end and Kalhan Shah grabbed his second of the season when he gave the keeper no chance, firing a penalty into the bottom right corner.
The fairplay award was given to Jamie Hammant-Cracknell for a promising attacking display.
