U9 Vipers
Rotherfield made a great start to the season in the annual Lewis Marsh commemorative tournament at Sandhurst. United completed the group stages without conceded a single goal which meant that they topped the group and booked themselves a place in the semi-final.
In the semi-final, Hawley Raiders took the lead after three minutes, but Rotherfield showed good character and equalised with just two minutes to go. The game finished at one each and so had to be settled by a penalty shootout. United made a great start and went 2-0 ahead, but Hawley responded well and eventually won the game 4-3.
Well done to the whole squad for a fantastic effort. The individual results were as follows :
